#94 – Sue Steele and Jen Pearce: Founders of The MERC

Sue Steele and Jen Pearce are Co-Founders of both the Mining Emergency Response Competition (MERC) and Red Earth Health Solutions. The MERC is held annually in Perth on the last weekend of November, with this year’s event on November 28-29, 2020. The event is a not-for profit occasion, made possible by the generosity of Sponsors and Volunteers with all leftover proceeds being donated to charity.

This episodes takes a look at how The MERC was founded and how it has grown to be Australia’s most renowned Emergency Response Competition. Plenty of funny stories are shared from the MERC journey start to present.
