Mal Mauger is Sandvik’s VP for Service Operations based in Amsterdam. Mal has been a regular Life Of Mine guest and was actually the 1st ever video interview ever conducted in Life Of Mine history.
Life Of Mine took the opportunity to grab Mal for an interview while he was back in Perth. We had a great chat about what he has been up to in both Amsterdam and around the world for the past 3 years within Sandvik. Mal has spearheaded a digital transformation of Sandvik’s Parts and Service division and goes into what it’s all about within the chat. We also talked about where Sandvik and the Mining industry are currently sitting within the EV revolution, and particularly who have been some of the best EV adopters so far.
